For the Emory University Library system holdings of over 3 million volumes in nine libraries and nearly a million visitors in 2008 is not enough. The library works tirelessly to be a model for libraries of the future by integrating digital, print, and multi-media resources all in the service of courageous inquiry.

Sharpdot re-designed and implemented 4 websites for the library system to bring a new consistency, usability and identity-focus that speaks clearly to this vision. Built using Drupal, the new sites wrap in powerful content management with the flexibility to grow to meet the changing needs of the future.

The sites are the University Library, Goizueta Business School Library, Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library and MARBL.

Hiddenbrooke

With the re-launch of HiddenbrookeOnline, Sharpdot has helped the Hiddenbrooke Community move squarely and boldly into the 21st Century! Designed and developed using Drupal, the new website has allowed this Bay Area community to ‘print’ their quarterly newsletter in an online edition, saving time and money but more importantly providing an easy to use online resource – a place where you can find everything you might need to know about Hiddenbrooke.

Racing stock car products for the U.S., Canada & Mexico. 2009 will see them launch into the retail market with a newly designed e-commerce website created by Sharpdot.

The Kidology Preschool

With their commitment to the Reggio Emilia approach, the newly opened Kidology Preschool offers something unique to the community. They needed their website to reflect their approach to education while being easy to update and maintain. The final solution uses WordPress with a custom theme and event and gallery plugins.

DartHeart provides resources for students with post traumatic stress. They take pride in presenting a different vision of what it means to be a “survivor”. Their drupal based website reinforces this approach through its custom designed theme and customized set of modules.

Westchester Philharmonic

Sharpdot recently redesigned the website for the Westchester Philharmonic. Because of their proximity to New York City, the orchestra features some of the world’s best classical musicians and their website needed to reflect that. The rebuild included working with the Westchester staff to enable them to easily update content after launch including changing out the featured flash slideshow images.

Brevard Music Center

Sharpdot recently redesigned the website for Brevard Music Center, an internationally known institute and summer festival for musicians. The website launched at the start of November 2008. The design features enhancements to the site’s usability by breaking out the users into sections based on function rather than site content.

The What To Expect Foundation
